The Source of the Searchlight

Searchlights were first used in the military in the 19th century, and they were commonly found in coastal artillery positions and air defense forces.

During Second World War, searchlights were used extensively in night air raids against the enemy. Specially German Army used them to search the Enemy Bomber Aircrafts.
